CPD Webinar – Odour Control for Anaerobic Digestion
Date: September 2025 Location: Online
We were pleased to host a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminar focused on Odour Control for Anaerobic Digestion — bringing together professionals from across the waste and renewable energy sectors to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and explore best practices in managing odorous emissions.
The session covered a range of key topics, including:
Sources and characteristics of odour emissions in AD plants
Effective design principles for containerised odour control systems
Integration with existing process infrastructure
Compliance with EA and SEPA odour management guidance
Case studies demonstrating real-world performance improvements
Our engineering team led the discussion, highlighting how smart, modular technologies can deliver reliable and scalable odour mitigation for both new and retrofit AD facilities. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in open Q&A sessions, review system designs, and discuss site-specific challenges.
Feedback from participants was extremely positive, with many noting that the session offered practical, actionable insights into improving air quality, regulatory compliance, and community relations.
We’d like to thank all attendees for their participation and contributions. As odour management remains a key focus for sustainable AD operations, we look forward to continuing to share expertise and support professional development across the industry.
