Issue

Exeon were approach to quote for a dust and emission control system at a fridge recycling facility.

Exeon identified that there was large amounts of VOC, specifically Pentane, were being emitted from the crushing of fridge equipment, resulting in an unsafe environment for the operators.

Solution

Exeon designed and installed a bespoke targeted carbon abatement system with specific carbon grades for VOC removal based on usage periods. The system was fully modular including an extract fan and dust prefiltration for handling 5,000m³/hr of flow.

Systems initial readings showed 99% efficiency across the carbon bed.
