Kimberly Clark – Odour Control For Processing Plant
Issue
Kimberly Clark was experiencing high levels of odourant within their processing plant in Barrow-in-Furness.
The perfume application equipment within their process needed to be contained and the overspray extracted away for abatement. The system needed to be CE marked and meet stringent protocols set out by the client.
The Solution
- Exeon installed a tank-flo™ system and associated ductwork, including a bespoke manufactured localised hood, to extract from the process.
- Specially selected media meant the odour was effectively removed and clean air could be dispersed to the atmosphere.
- An extraction rate of 3,000m³/hr was applied with a media contact time of 5.0 seconds for a successful system and install.
